New News

So, I passed my actuarial exam that I took in May.

That is really good news. It's a career education milestone, if one that marks a spot still far from the end. That's 4 down, 5 to go not including the one I'm taking this summer to get out of going back to take another college statistics class.
So my stats are:
Actuarial Exams attempted during spring session: 3
Actuarial Exams passed during spring session: 1
Actuarial Exams attempted during fall session: 3
Actuarial Exams passed during fall session: 3
Total Actuarial Exams attempted: 6
Total Actuarial Exams passed: 4
Total kidney stones passed: 0

Just thought I'd update you all on this.

I think I speak for all of us when I say:

1) Congratulations on passing your most recent exam.

2) We're glad that you haven't passed any kidney stones. Unless of course you've been trying to pass one all this time. That would be horrible.

Amen. Amen to that.

Jon, you almost scored 5 points. I read that last stat as I was drinking some water. It took some advanced swallowing moves to have it not come out my nose.

And then I made the mistake of taking another drink as I read Jared's comment. Again, crises barely averted.

Do you remember Dr. Webers Biology 100 class? Do you remember the video about the Excretory system and kidney stones and the look on the guys face when he passed one?

So what's the next exam on "Advanced number throwing around skills"? Do you know how to throw a split finger fast number? Or perhaps the number that goes wah (however you spell that)
