But these are really good ways ... you know, the kind you can mindlessly play at ... the kind your baby will enjoy too ...
The first is a site called Line Rider. Basically, you draw a line, any line, and this little penguin on a sled (with a red scarf that waves in the wind) will ride down the line line you just drew. He'll go off jumps, do flips, crash if your line isn't right—it's great.
The second is a site that turns you into an artist. Just start moving your mouse and clicking.
Enjoy!

More ways to waste time on-line

I think the penguin needs to learn to hold on to that sled better. That was fun!
I know what you mean—the first line I drew ended up sending him off of a jump. He lost his sled, crashed, and then settled face down into the "snow" with his scarf hanging down. The sled landed and came back and kept on running back over him (the line was kind of like a "u" and he settled in the middle). I felt kind of bad at first.
Oddly addicting. I'm actually pretty proud of the acrobatics I've been able to make Scamper (I've named the penguin) do.
I've discovered that you cannot impale Scamper by drawing spikes at the bottom of a crevasse. However, you can make him fall into a bottomless pit. Kind of reminds me of Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey.
Jared, I never thought you the impale-a-penguin type. Learn something new everday.
I can make Scamper do the splits when he lands off of a jump. Oh yeah.
Not that I'm the type; I mean, I don't think I'd necessarily match the profile. But I do have a morbid curiosity.
Okay, so if you thought this was fun, you should look on youtube and search for videos of line rider - triple backflips, cool jumps, and one amazing one that has a whole mountain scene!
