Did you know that Big Love is going to portray part of a temple ceremony? Did you know I would have never known about it had I not heard about it from Mormon friends via email, blogs, facebook, etc? I wonder how many other people are finding out about it that way. It seems like every time Mormons get all huffy about someone talking about us, its just free advertising for the people we perceive as wronging us.
Here's a better reaction: Big Whoop. You can go find the temple ceremony in its entirety on the web. And its not like the producers of big love are breaking their temple covenants by airing this. At worst, they are being disrespectful. Not nice, but not noteworthy.

Amen
No, seriously Amen! Oh and people? You're missing a great show!
April I liked your first comment better.
I'm glad you said this, because this is mostly how I feel. I saw the Godmakers and seen the ceremonies online, and I didnt think this was as big a deal as some where making it out to be. But this does have a wider audience, so I think it is much worse that what is out there already.
You know, this is going to sound pretty... strange but I have fun reading all the anti-stuff. A few years ago, that's all I would read. I would check out a few books, search a few websites and to be honest I find it quite fascinating what people say and take the time to write about us. I mean, come on, it's more entertaining than websites trying to defend the church.
Jen- do you have them on DVD? I need to borrow them for the week before we leave for Utard
Nick- On second thought, I figured a simple Amen would suffice.
What I said before was that most of the stuff I read or saw online had some headline like "Click here to view secret pictures of ceremonies" and most of the time it was all wrong. So I actually want to see this episode that comes out just for shiz and giggles.
April, I too liked your first comment better, the one you deleted?
Yup, I was over analyzing what I said so I deleted it and replaced it with the mindless rambling that you see above (and here).
Do you have those on DVD?
nope. just dvr! sorry. ive never missed an episode, so really no need...
